Le Laboratoire de Physique de l’Atmosphère et de l’Océan Siméon Fongang (LPAO-SF) est chargé de l'animation de l'option Météorologie, Océanographie et Gestion des Milieux arides (MOGMA) du Master 2 « Sciences de l'Ingénieur » de l'Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique de l'UCAD.
La Direction de la Recherche et de l’Innovation a pour principale mission d’appuyer la définition et la mise en œuvre de la politique de recherche et d’innovation de l’Université.
L'Ecole Doctorale Eau Qualité et Usages de l'eau regroupe des laboratoires de l'UCAD (dont le LPAOSF), des universités nationales, des centres de recherche et des utilisateurs de la recherche dans le domaine de l'eau.
Le Master Recherche de l’ESP a pour objectif de préparer les étudiants à la recherche fondamentale et appliquée dans leur domaine de spécialité.
